B&W inspiration: 1.24.11

shot this when i was 16, early morning commute to the darkroom. 35mm kodak T-max

Lately, I’ve been thinking on the good old days. When I would spend 80% of my school day locked in the darkroom, finding infinate ways to alter and enhance my black and white images. Sneaking into the darkroom before the teacher was there and working like a mad scientist until he noticed i was missing from the lecture and abbruptly turn the darkroom lights on, sending me into a fit running for the fix! I miss those days, the chemical induced creativity, the endless filters and craft of dodging and burning. The days when photography was still tangable and only a few dedicated souls could really call themselves a photographer.
